Sumer is just a tool

Big Tech knows that you don't know

As a manager you probably routinely set up spreadsheets as forms and reports, naming columns, indicating columns that can be edited, or calculated, or sourced from another list, or posted to another location.

This information already specifies everything necessary for the definition of a database. Sumer takes that information and build it into an explicit relational database.

And yes . . . everyone in Big Tech knows this, and could have delivered a program like Sumer 20 years ago. The rely on the fact that you don't know.

Here is the spreadsheet behind the simple nursery sales form we saw earlier...

That's it, the whole template. Not much explanation necessary; if you can use Excel, Libre Office, or Google Docs, you can use Sumer. Except that Sumer builds out into an entire database.

Over 100 templates are already available (no cost) in the Library. They are easy to change and customize.

You can pretty much use your current paper or spreadsheet forms and copy them into Sumer.

Or if you can't use a computer at all, most 12 year olds can help.
